Having read some of the negative reviews on google, I must admit I was a little bit skeptical about trying this place. However I am glad I did. I actually really enjoyed the congee, it tasted really nice and really brought me back to memory lane to where my grandmother used to make this for me growing up. What is nice about this place is that it is incredibly traditional whereby they even serve the Chinese bread to accompany the congee with spareribs. It is also next to a classic dessert restaurant that you can check out too. Also the prices are very economical, so if it’s not for you no harm done.

It is an ok comfort meal - didn’t find it that special.
Rice gruel with pork bone is very typical style. The soup is white with medium body and full with specific pork bone umami taste. The bowl come with Chinese style bread stick. However, when comparing with the other rice gruel, this recipe still at the medium level.

ร้านแรก ข้าวต้มแยกหมอมี (ติดสามแยกหมอมี) ข้าวต้มกระดูกหมูของร้านนี้ ซุปที่ใช้อร่อยเข้มข้นหวานมันน้ำต้มกระดูกหมูมากขนาดมีข้าวในน้ำ ความหวานของน้ำซุปก็ไม่ได้อ่อนเลย อร่อยแบบไม่ต้องปรุง ถึงตัวซุปจะเข้มข้น แต่กลับซดง่ายคล่องคอ กระดูกหมูอ่อนก็เคี่ยวจนนุ่ม ไม่เหนียว ข้าว(สำหรับเบลล์ชอบข้าวนิ่มๆแบบข้าวใหม่หอมมะลิ ส่วนที่นี่ใช้ข้าวแข็งนิดๆตามที่เค้านิยมใช้ค่ะ)ซึ่งข้าวก็ต้มได้ดีไม่บานน้ำเกิน ตามมาตรฐานที่คนส่วนมากชอบทาน
