Wonderful art gallery and museum located in the state rooms of the Residenz. The ticket gives you access to the state rooms of the Prince- Archbishops of Salzburg, the Cathedral Museum - containing mainly religious artefacts, the organ loft high above the cathedral nave (the best view of the cathedral interior) and to terraces providing wonderful views over the surrounding interlinking squares.

A self-tour that takes you through the 4 iconic buildings in Salzburg Old Town that includes the Cathedral, Residence Palace, Residence Gallery and the St Peter's Museum. Highly recommend it as it allows you to visit the upper chambers of the Cathedral and with comprehensive information about Salzburg's political and religious background. Salzburg Card allows for free access and you just have to follow the signs for the tour that takes you one loop across the 4 places. The tour takes at least an hour to three hours depending on your pace, but it's extremely worth it. Highly recommended.

Not worth the 13. Best part is the view from the terrace. 5 would be ok

You can't visit Salzburg without visiting this, a UNESCO World Heritage site.. Rooms, furniture, paintings and sacred art and treasures that once belonged to the archibishops of Salzburg. The so called cabinets contain an astonishing collection of objects and stuffed animals. The tour of the residence will take you to the upper floor of the Cathedral through a terrace. The detailed audio guide describes each room and the tour can take hours if you listen to it all. The ticket is included in the Salzbourg card. No photos are allowed in many rooms and you must leave your bags in a locker (free).

I really enjoyed spending a couple of hours walking in and out of this place. A must do in Salzburg.
