We had a great experience. We got to the restaurant right as they opened and enjoyed a lovely patio table for and early dinner and happy hour. The calamari was excellent as an appetizer and the entrees were also delicious. The staff was very friendly and the tables were spaced out so we could enjoy our meal safely.

TL ; DR : Amazing , reservation may need. Food : Hanger steak is amazingly done. The doneness level is appropriate per request. You may request for less salt though, if you are on low sodium diet. Cacio E Pepe is nice. Oyster is also available, although it is not on the manu. Service : superb, very friendly and visit us really often asking for feedbacks or further need. Price : expect about 50 or so for dinner of two. Manu : beef, chicken, seafood (oyster, shrimp, scallop, mussel and so on). Entrée, snack, main dish available. Family manu cost 80 to 90 bucks for 4 to 6 people. Ambiance : nicely lit, spacious and comfy.

Been going to Salut for around 10 years now. Service is always good but food quality is going down each year. Blowing a great opportunity to be a premiere French restaurant in the twin cities. Not really any desire to return

This is one of our favorite places for date night and one of a few places in town I trust to order oysters. Jordan is a gem of a server and takes great care of his customers. The steak frites is truly the best anywhere. The decor is fun and the place always has a fun buzz about it. Highly recommend having reservations - we use Open Table. I love that the women’s restroom always has free items to use like hairspray and tampons. The alley to the parking ramp is lit up and fun to walk through.

It was my wife’s birthday. We were seated at a table that had it was facing a wall from one side of the table. The restaurant was very noisy. The service was good. I ordered the hanger steak with french fries it came basically having been sitting under the heat lamp for a while and the french fries were soggy. The hanger steak was tough and not very hot. My wife ordered the mussels and she did enjoy those. We were basically disappointed in Salut as we had been there several times before but this was our first bad experience. It was a bad experience for both of us.
