Great place to have a walk around and feels like you are in the countryside. Some paths are fairly flat and nice and wide so suitable for pushchairs. The entrance gate may be difficult for some wheelchair users as it was a little tight as the big gate was locked after you parked the care. Plenty of disabled parking though.

It has the potential to be lovely. But it was absolutely filthy, litter EVERYWHERE! Honestly I've never been to a park or nature reserve with so much litter. The hilly ground makes for good bikes routes, but there were inconsiderate \young adults\ driving around on mini motorbike scramblers. A family and their children had to go single file on a footpath to move out of the way of one. Parking was a haphazard affair as the carpark was full so lots of people had parked on the street, which must be really frustrating for the people who live on that road. Some positives: There's a nice big pond/lake to walk around with different types of ducks and birds. Highlight for me was the variety of mushrooms to hunt for.
This is a great place to visit for a relaxing walk The paths are mostly hardcore so not too muddy and the sculpture trail is great for young children to keep them interested. There are a few inclines but not overly steep and it was great to watch the squirrels going about their business. Dogs can be off the lead as well. No toilets as yet but a visitor center is being built and there is plenty of parking. Saltwells pub by the car park is doing takeaway cobs and drinks as well.
Lovely to get out this morning don't live to far away from this place and it was my first visit. Had a great few hours walking with the grand children. Will be going back to carry on with the other routes around the Saltwells Nature Reserve.
Lovely nature reserve. Great for walking the dog or just getting some exercise. We love the place
