Ok, so I used to visit Saltgrass anytime I was in Texas and was thrilled when I relocated back to Tulsa Metro to find one here. They did not disappoint. The staff was courteous and the food was on point. They were social distancing their tables and all of the staff I viewed were wearing masks and asking patrons to wear theirs when not seated. The only complaint was a plumbing issue which they were aware of and working to get resolved. I will be back without a doubt.

Food is great but service is not planned right. Salad came out pretty quick and then hot food showed up less than 2 minutes later. Didn't finish salad because I didn't want my food to get cold and when I complained the response was \We always do it like that\. She didn't even offer to keep it warm for me. This was around 2:30 and there wasn't more than 6 customers there. A simple question by server would have been nice and a bigger tip.

Our experience was quite unique and not in a good way. Our server Nicki at the Tulsa location was not the greatest and was the weirdest transaction and hospitality we have ever received at any restaurant. We sat in the bar area at a high top table. After we ordered and finished our meal she brought us our bill without asking if we wanted anything else such as another drink or dessert. We gave her our credit card to pay for our meal, but then I also ordered another drink and I gave her a 20 bill for a 7 glass of Chardonnay. She asked if the cash was for the glass of wine and I responded yes. After approximately 20 minutes she never came back with my change so I went up to the bar and asked for my change… She thought she would keep the change. I was not going to give her a 13 tip for one glass of wine that I had to ask for her to refill. She then stated that the glass of wine was 10, and I responded well I still give you a 20 bill, and she responded so what kind of change do you want, and I said 13 which was the change from a 7 glass of wine. She then only gave me 12 for change so I advised her to keep the dollar. This was the most confusing yet unusual experience I’ve ever received at a restaurant. Honestly we used to go to saltgrass quite often in the Parker Colorado location, but the service went downhill that we stopped going. I’ve also been to the San Antonio location and now the Tulsa location and again the service has been awful or non-existent. The food was delicious but that was the only thing that was good. This will be the last time we go to Saltgrass.

I had the NY steak. It was cooked as I requested, medium rare, with my baked potato and string beans. It was a nice meal. Everyone was cordial, manager did ask also if I needed anything. Attentive to customers.

The restaurant was very clean. Our service was superior. The manager came around to each table to make sure the service was great. On the weekends I definitely would make a reservation because the wait could be up to an hour long. The food was decent. I wouldn't say it blew me away. I've had better steaks. The portions seemed to be a decent size. I would say it needed to be seasoned a little bit better. All in all it we had a nice time. The food wasn't bad at all, just didn't see what all the fuss about the restaurant was all about.
