I had my best meal of the week here last night. On entering we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly gentleman. Who also served us all evening. And made sure we had everything we needed. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was stunning. The Scollops starter was cooked to perfection lovely moist centres. Picking a starter was hard as all the starters sounded good. I had the Linguine for main. Again absolutely gorgeous i enjoyed every mouthfull of it. My husband had the haddock and chips and he thoroughly enjoyed that. I can testify the Chips were home cut and cooked because i stole a couple off his plate and there a good chip. For desert we had the Chocolate Brownie Sundae. A beautifull end to a great all round meal.

Visited on 21st Feb 2020 for an evening meal, and found this restaurant almost by mistake after booking the very similarly named place across the road thinking it was this establishment. The staff were attentive, welcoming and helpful, and catered for my special dietary requirements with no fuss. The food was lovely and while we were on soft drinks this time there was a good range of drinks available and a great atmosphere. We will have to come back again another time to try some other options when we're back in the area, hopefully soon!

The staff put down dairy free burger for me at the bar as I’m intolerant but neglected to tell me that their buns are all brioche buns so when I paid my 10 for a burger (I think that was the price) it then turned up with no bun, just a burger on top of a light bed of lettuce with a cut tomato! I have never seen anything like this in my life, to be honest it was insulting and hilarious at the same time. Then I asked them for my bread and they explained, so I asked them for any bread for my burger (better than nothing). If I had known this was the case with the bread and I was told then I wouldn’t have eaten here in the first place. Unfortunately I won’t ever go back in there again, and I wouldn’t advise it if you have any allergies!
