Do what they ask. Be nice and they will be nice to you. Just want you to be a valuable member of society. Going to get my charges expunged in a few years. Bring the paperwork you are supposed to when you meet with parole officer and keep your nose clean. You will get off probation faster.

I don't understand why people think the staff at AP&P are so mean. After all it is their job to be firm with violators of the law. Maybe because I am a long time politician/activist in Utah I relate to the staff at AP&P better than most people. I commend the hard working folks at the department of corrections for the excellent job they do. Running the Utah state prison and Decker Lake is a really tough job. I emphasized the word TOUGH. Being a CO in the prison is really hard, emotional challenging and down right dangerous work because of the villains they have to deal with on a daily basis. I appreciate how respectful the AP&P staff have always been toward me as a public figure. I most appreciate they have one goal in mind the same as me. Keeping our streets safe and having a passion about it. One of the most effective uses of our taxpayers dollar in my adamant opinion. Thanks a million. God Bless you AP&P

Dear Airomee, Yes, it's their job to be firm but dirty shouldn't be the MO and it seems that it is. Give people a chance and don't make life hell on someone who is trying to recover from addiction. It's not helpful and just perpetuates the situation. Also, maybe when you aren’t a “public figure” you can report on how you were treated. Until then, your adamant and biased opinion means nothing. It's a waste of taxpayer dollars and the "system", in general, is not just or helpful.

My P.O is cool enough but I think that Utah's court system sucks and I don't think that I am biased in anyway as I was able to see how the judicial system is supposed to work when I visited NM . Even my P.O said that he has never seen anyone do 8 months and then still have to be on probation . I think it is because my Judge is inexperienced . If you get Judge Camille Nieder watch out . Without a doubt you will be on probation. Lol

Good group of ordinary citizens, performing extraordinary duties. My experience with the court system has actually been a positive thing. Utah's correction system isn't perfect, but it's FAIR!! For all the bad wrap these guys get, they are just normal human beings, with family, dreams. I would like to thank the men and woman in uniform who are moral and just, who carry out there duties with honor. I haven't always been a model citizen, but I am grateful for the opportunity I've been given to reform my life and with the help of Adult Probation and Parole I will once again become a positive influence on society.

The parole office is not the best it can be they need to let adults be adults.
