The team at Blacksmith are go-getters that make magic happen. Not only are they all exceptionally nice, they have a network of top-class suppliers that work fast to deliver goods exactly as as per specs/designs. As a design agency, we value the professionalism and talent at Blacksmith, which is why they are a preferred partner for our client's production needs. -Cara from Apparelmark

I cannot say enough great things about Blacksmith International and their team. Since the day I put in a call to Cole, the process has been easy and effortless. The entire team is always very responsive and has the resources to get your product developed and manufactured. Their team in China is nothing short of amazing! Blacksmith works all hours of the night to ensure you are getting the answers you need. They constantly make you feel confident and excited about your product. I was close to giving up on my dream (and may have) if I would not have made that call to Blacksmith.

I've been working with Blacksmith for nearly 2 years now. After struggling to find manufacturers that were capable and qualified to work on my product, I called Blacksmith and within 2 days they had mutliple factories as options. After launching, we faced massive back-order issues due to demand and Blacksmith worked relentlessly to increase our output and delivery time. Today, they're partners that go well beyond our sourcing. They are willing to sit and brainstorm improvements with me, continually fight for better pricing and terms, and even help when random projects are needed that are unrelated to their 'scope' of work. They have a great team and I'm so happy to have them as an extension of mine!

Blacksmith International has been the knight in shining armor for Waddle. Overall, Blacksmith is one of the greatest teams I have ever worked with and our relationship continues to evolve and become more valuable everyday. The level of communication has been exceptional and the attention to detail outstanding. Because they have teams on the ground in Asia, they have been able to quickly identify and solve any quality or deadline issues that have surfaced. For us, that means we get more and better product onto the shelf and into the hands of our customers. I sleep easy knowing I have Blacksmith handling my product manufacturing!

They are not easy to work with. They hired me to work for their company and after I completed all the work assignments they gave me, they complained I did my work too fast. It was a struggle to get paid. They seemed easy to work with at first, but after a couple of weeks it became more difficult. One of the managers was mad I worked in inches and that I had to convert metric from Asia into inches for North America. After an argument about my work in inches, I never heard from them again. It was super weird and un professional. I do not reccomend as a contractor.

It's been a great experience working with Blacksmith on a variety of projects. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. We (Modaliti) have supplied product design for some of their clients and it is clear that they are dedicated to helping them succeed on every level. Keep up the awesome work, guys!

When you need something manufacturers overseas you can do it yourself, or you can work with the professionals at Blacksmith. Having been a product designer for over a decade, I've brought hundreds of items to market and can say that working with Blacksmith was one of the most enjoyable and easiest experiences of my career. Pros: Dealing with Americans so no language barrier and no overnight time zone issues. Since BI has direct relationships with the factories they use, they can inspect the facilities, have a higher level of QC, and can protect your IP - these of course are not possible if you go direct to China yourself.

Blacksmith Intl delivers a very unique product. Want to get something manufactured in China because it's cheaper but have no idea where to even start? Just pass it off to these guy's capable hands. We've known this company and their management and worked with them through multiple types of experiences and business interactions. They are always professional, honest, and they know their stuff. They treat their vendors fairly and their customers very well. They are killing it because their service is valuable and unique. Just imagine the headache you'll save yourself turning it over to the experts and saving money in the process.
