Faujdarhat Cadet College, is a military high school (grade 7 to grade 12), modelled after public schools in the UK (according to the Public Schools Act 1868),run following the national curriculum of Bangladesh, financed partially by the Bangladesh Army, located at Faujdarhat, near Chittagong, in Bangladesh.Faujdarhat Cadet College boards up to 300 boys for grades 7 to 12. Every year, 50 students are admitted at the college at grade 7 through a nationwide admission test composed of written (Bangla, English, Math, General Knowledge), oral and medical examinations. It was the first cadet college to be established by Field Marshall Muhammad Ayub Khan in erstwhile East Pakistan facing the Bay of Bengal. It was established on 28 April 1958.[1] Until 1965, it was known as the East Pakistan Cadet College. The principal of the school is usually ranked Lieutenant Colonel or above, and is appointed by the Adjutant General's branch of the Bangladesh Army.[2] From 2003, the cadet colleges in Bangladesh were converted to the English version of the National curriculum.

Faujdarhat Cadet College has a great historical background, it is the first cadet College of Bangladesh that was established in Pakistan period in 1958 have huge area of 205 acres. This is the best college of Bangladesh and renowned for rules and regulations and aesthetic view. Moreover this is the most expensive college among the country. There is Administration building, Academic building, House building, Mosque, Swimming pool, Playground, Meusium, Library, Guest house, Teacher’s dormatory, Basketball ground and many other places. Overall this campus have good environment for studies.
