First class food, gets better and better each time we visit (and we've been a lot). Excellent value for money and always a friendly service. A truly hidden gem in a beautiful village setting. We recommend the Calamari, Goats cheese or Garlic bread as a starter (see photo).

Great restaurant and due to covid we have had takeaway.
Excellent Sunday lunch- great quality and great service at a reasonable price. The restaurant also fitted me in at very short notice on one occasion. Highly recommend both meat and vegetarian options

I booked a table at Sale Pepe with 10 friends for my birthday. We arrived there on time and had the table reserved. It was very decorative inside and the service was great. It did take a while for the starters to come (about 40 mins) but we did have drinks first and enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was delicious (I especially liked the Garlic & Rosemary flatbread) and the main course of linguine Bolognaise. I think the main course had a little too much meat in, but was great! I had a desert as well - first time I had affogato but was delicious. They sang Happy birthday and a candle came with the dessert. It's definitely a place I'd consider dining at again:)
