It's the entry point to Mata Surkanda Devi temple. The place is on the Chamba-Mussorie road and there are couple of shops and food joints in this location. Most of them sell puja items and fast foods. The parking is on the side of the road. The valley view from this location is picturesque and the temple is visible from the climbing point.

Awesome place. Less crowded. We found perfect snow field here. This place is close to Dhanaulti. We were on our bike trip and I found this place more scenic and attractive. There is less shops and commercialization in this place, which makes it less crowded and which is good.

Scenic place, not much crowded like other hill stations.
Avoid visiting post snowfall, roads are quit slippery. Otherwise a perfect destination for nature lovers.
