If you have an interest in fossils and minerals, this is one of the major places to be. Once a year the otherwise sleepy village of Sainte Marie-aux-Mines completely transforms into a big open-air fair with hundreds of stalls dedicated to the sale of fossils and minerals. This is where mineral and fossil shop go to buy there stock, and definitely worth a visit even if you don't intend to spent your money there - if only for the shear size of it, and it's many spectacular shows!
Cool mineral exhibition, well planned and with vegan snacks this is a 5 star exhibition. Very crowded though.
This place was absolutely amazing I knew it was going to be big. It was even better then I could ever imagine 2018 was my first year and i'm definitely going again next year Beautiful! good prices great whole sellers
If you like minerals, fossils,, gems, jewelry or meteorites then you have to go at least once in your life.
