Lovely setting but beware, the menu I saw online before booking a table contained several vegetarian options...When we arrived there was a new menu with no vegetarian dishes at all. The staff weren't very friendly and we waited a long time for our desserts..won't be rushing back.

This service area is located directly at the exit Saint-Victor E62 (N145), which is a few kilometers north of Montluçon. Good opportunity for a rest, halfway from Bordeaux to Mulhouse. Right next to it is a self-service station from Leclerc with mostly cheap prices (Maestro cards work). Nearby (500 m) there is an indoor pool for refreshment (Center Aqualudique de lá Loue) has a little unconventional opening hours.
