We used to go to Salama when it was in its previous location and we always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We went back last night after a long time as this new venue only opened a few months ago. We had a lovely evening. The food was good, we really enjoyed the starter (aubergine), as main course I went for the vegetarian couscous and I found it a little bland but since it is served with chickpeas, harissa and onions and raisins (absolutely fantastic) overall it was a good dish. The location and decor is very pretty too. It was little somber which was good for the atmosphere but a little challenging for the pictures, hence I only took a couple.

Good Morocan restaurant. Quality of the food is fine. Unfortunately, due to the size of the restaurant, the ambience is unfortunately lost, the people who still knew old Salama, know what I'm talking about, but we'll be back.

Very nice maroccan restaurant. Very good food and very festive ambient with nice music indeed. Elegant people too. Very very good.

Friendly and nice interior. Typical Moroccan. Tastes fine but pricy.

We arrived and were greated in a not very friendly way. The lady at the counter did not even look up to greet us from her phone and just said \your name\. Then we were seated (it felled more like dumped) in a corner seat that was next to the counter. It clearly showed that this normally is a seat for 2 persons and they literary just took a pot plant away for a 3rd person to sit down. We asked if it wasn't possible to sit somewhere else but again we were answered in a rude way: a plain No! Ok if all is booked out fair enough but a bit more politeness would be much appreciated. Salama is well known at their old location for their Moroccan specialities, but now, well a few dishes on the menu, that was it. The food was very bland, semi warm and it was served within 10 minutes in ordering. 40 minutes later we were leaving the restaurant. I would definitely not return to this restaurant. Rude staff, less then average food and unfortunately a bad seating. Not worth the money.

The price of the vibe is in the food, but the vibe is good.

Bad: food below average, belly dancers below average, service was non existent, we had to chase them to bring anything...waitor didn't even pour water Good: lady at the front door was polite (Sophie), guy with the drum, atmosphere was ok but prefer the old Villa Romana
