It was great experience for my family today. Very nice winery and friendly owners. We didn't make a reservation and just asked owner family about the opportunities to taste wines. They told us that we needed to wait about 10minutes only. Then my wife and I tasted 5 kinds of wines including Rose de Marie and another 40 degree alcohol. I will visit Château Houston-Ducasse again when visiting Bordeaux again. Thank you for your kindness and great wines.

Our unplanned trip to this vineyard was amazing. Michel went out of his way to make sure me and my shabbily dressed friends felt perfectly at home in his beautiful chateau. He is a man passionate about his craft, the environment and hospitality. The trip ended with an unannounced platter of fine foods and some of his prized vintages. He asked for nothing but our attention, and we were more than happy to buy some of his lovingly blended wines. Really made our day. Thanks Michel.

This was a very pleasant surprise. We tried to book some of the bigger wineries because we figured the better the name recognition, the better the tour/experience. We were wrong. Despite not being a massive chateau, this winery was an amazing experience. Michel was a great host and it was great to get to know him and his wines (which were excellent). Already looking forward to going back and trying next years' vintage.

My husband and I rented a car from Bordeaux and drove out to the Medoc area without a real plan. Not knowing that most of the chateauxs would be closed because of the off season, we called Hourtin -Ducasse and they gave us a great tasting! We sampled about 10 different wines with snacks. The owner gave us a wonderful experience!

Great experience, lovely people. If you have time take the full tour with food, if not the short version is great and the wine excellent. If you taste only once in Haut Médoc then make it here.
