The museum itself is uninteresting. Instead go to the monastery (nearby) or to les caves de chareuse (30 min drive).

The building itself is really nice and in a great landscape. Considering the cost of the ticket, the visit to the museum may be avoided while limiting only to the external view.

Beautiful place, outside as well as the inside of the museum. A good way to learn more about the region and the monks. There are audio tours available in many languages! There is a shop with experienced staff that can tell you all about the products sold there, which includes a lot of local products. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit, the things I learned and the peace I felt while walking around.

I highly appreciate these monks, but the museum was a bit bored. The best part of it the walk on the lovely and peacefully road to the new building.
