Our club is made up of a friendly group of bowlers and is open to all ages. We are affiliated to Bowls England, the English Bowling Federation, Huntingdonshire Bowls, Huntingdonshire County Bowls Federation and Huntingdonshire Women's County Bowls Federation. In addition to players entering county and national competitions we have several teams playing in local leagues, we play friendly matches against local teams and there are weekly bowls games for players to improve their skills and socialise. In winter we have indoor teams playing at Huntingdon Indoor Bowls Club. We also put on social events throughout the year. We're always keen to welcome new members. Whether you're young or old, sporty or more sedentary, keen for competition or just want to enjoy yourself, you'll find the club's friendly atmosphere appealing. It really doesn't matter if you've never picked up a bowl in your life; coaching is available at the club, there are club bowls you can use until you get your own set, and all members are only too keen to give a helping hand. Many who've lived in St Ives for years don't know there's a haven of peace and tranquility based at the end of Priory Road.
