Only St Ives

Really really nice stay just outside St Ives. Fantastic in every way. The Garden Room is pure quality.

Poor owner management. We had booked this cottage through the owner/home and away, and paid for the dates, only to be told it was already booked after they took our money the next day? We were sent a confirmation email from the owners the day before and paid the amount owed, a couple of excuses were used that they had no Internet but somehow had a disscussion with my wife on email? They should of known if they had a booking or not, we even went online to check the dates and they were still free. No apology from the owners and they couldnt return our money straight away, this delayed booking another cottage. We have had to wait 48hrs for the money to be returned, way to long in my eyes as they are responsible for the mistake and should of just paid us back straight away. No customer should be out of pocket for their own failure to run a company. Luckily we found a better cottage that has only taken part payment and confirmed the booking, also it has a games room and is much bigger and in a better area. Its a shame as it did look nice, but I wouldn't trust them at all and unfortunately it's made me write this up on Google as a lack of response from the owners to reply to my wife is very bad.
