My husband and I went to the store on 04/07/20. The service we received in the store was very good. We paid a deposit and arranged for someone to come to measure for the carpet on 06/07/20. He came at 11.00am arranged. Within an hour of him leaving we were called and asked for the balance. This is the first time we have been asked to pay in advance. We were told that it is in the T's&C's. We also found that they will not guarantee the fitting date and that should you have to cancel for any reason you will be charge 20% of the cost . I think that these facts should be transparent and not hidden in the small print. I wont be returning to the store again.

Fantastic service,We had our Lounge,Stairs Landing and 2 Beds done today by the St Helens Branch and we can not recommend enough.The service from the young gentlemen in store was brilliant and he booked us in for fitting on the date we asked for and got a phone call just like he said we would and the 2 fitters today who came today was superb.Thank you again
Bit of a wasted journey should really be called United carpets as no beds for sale anymore in the shop. They have them online now mmmm how not to please a customer.
Really helpful, good old fashioned service. We were really pleasantly surprised - we'd only ordered a small lower budget carpet yet the service was excellent - the carpet was ready to collect as arranged and the sales guy folded it for us and even put it in the boot of the car himself. Thank you.
