Had Christmas Dinner 2020 here....Absolutely fabulous...table service throughout for starter, dessert & drinks and was called up to the carvery when it was quiet. Food was hot, tasty and fresh and the prosecco was a lovely flavour and very reasonably priced....This is our 3rd year at the Lymewood for Christmas and will deffinately be booking for next year too. We have also eaten here for breakfast.....lovely food, the only negative would be the toast. It was cold, hard and crispy...other than that it was fab Service is always fab here too. Had a delicious carvery today - best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time! Excellent value for money. Really strict on distancing/cleaning etc so felt really covid safe. Service was really good and the staff were all really efficient and friendly. The waitress who looked after us, Josey, was particularly friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return here based on the food, service and cleanliness.
I come here when I'm here on business and it has never disappointed.... Food is always excellent, the staff are very nice and attentive..... I have been well looked after by some great people..... On this visit Josey and Megan M went out of their way to look after me... I would highly recommend a visit
We visited for breakfast on the 19 September this year after having stayed locally following my mum's funeral the day before and were highly impressed by the service, the food and the price. My husband and I went for the standard breakfast and were amazed both by the quality and size. The staff were all very friendly, in particular Josey, who we have to say did the establishment proud. We were particularly impressed by the Covid measures that the management has put in place. We will definitely be making a special trip to return next time we are in the area. We have now recommended to family and friends. Thank you for a fantastic experience during what was a very difficult time.
