Pleasant neighborhood place. Met a friend here for Sunday brunch. Quaint and small. I think it would be nicer in the summer when they open the large doors and you can sit out front. It was a little drafty on my feet and the ambience is quite basic. No fluff. The food was very good. We shared the deviled eggs which were flavorful and creamy. I liked the French press coffee. Rich. For our meals my friend had the omelette special which had braised beef inside. The presentation was nice and she liked flyer meal. I had the quiche which was light and fluffy.

Great food - great atmosphere - great addition to the area. We ordered the potato pave and the lamb tartare. The pave is one of the most unique potato dishes in town - it's a must order. The lamb tartare was unlike any tartare I've had before - very, very good - I only wish the size was larger as it can be eaten in 2-3 bites. My husband had the pork dish which she loved and I had the lamb dish which was excellent. I really enjoyed the melt in your mouth quality and the original presentation - it's not the same old rack of lamb - it almost reminded me of prime rib. I highly recommend. Wine lovers will enjoy this place and for those with a sweet tooth we recommend the date spice cake with candied mandarin oranges and cheesecake ice cream. It was perfect for two.
My friend and I went to the happy hour at Saint Genevieve tonight, it was lovely. We had the burger - highly recommend, fries and oysters. Add in the Rose and we were happy campers. They are abiding by COVID rule and regs, we felt super safe the whole time. Way to go, St. Gens! highly recommend this place
This restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat in Minneapolis. Hands down the best French food you can have. I had there chicken dish and I died and went to heaven. Really the best chicken I have ever EVER had. I think about it weekly now. If you haven’t been here go now. Stop what your doing and make a reservation cause there busy so you can’t just show up. Classy vibes, great wine and amazing food it’s a must.
Absolutely delicious food and such a lovely atmosphere, even during a pandemic. Highly recommend.
