Beautiful gardens to visit in the height of summer. The lotus lake is in full bloom and there are usually a couple of weekends in July & August when a Polynesian Festival is held - complete with dancers, music and other activities. We visit every year and are always amazed at the flower borders and lake. Great for kids too as there is a little farm area where you can see goats, chickens and piglets!

Fabulous gardens and friendly staff. Highlights: Rose garden, zen garden, cascade, tropical greenhouse and the lotus lake is not to be missed, at its most spectacular in July/August when the lotus are in bloom. Kids had fun too with free 18 hole mini-golf and miniature farm. Lots of water, bridges, terrapins and dragonflies. Picnic area and bar/cafe. All accessible on wheels whether buggy or wheelchair.

A beautiful peaceful garden. A must see.
Strange place, part formal garden part cheap theme park. The lotus lake is stunning, some of the other formal vistas look great but it looks like they are struggling to keep up with maintenance and planting. Random sculptures of pandas and tigers and replicas of Easter Island heads with a reggae soundtrack provide a surreal contrast
Calm and tranquil place with lots of shade for a hot day. Fun mini golf ( included) Ice creams a little expensive for the size of the portion but very tasty.
Wonderful, large gardens. Just follow the path to find different and wonderful vistas. The lotus lake was very impressive. The staff were friendly, the cafe wad good and it was good value for money.
Lovely place to visit in the summer.
