Spent a really lovely day here with our granddaughter. If you time your visit either side of low tide the beach is one of the best I have visited. Lots of sand and rock pools and gently shelving sea for paddling. Didn’t visit the cafe so can’t comment. One of the few benefits of corona virus was that the toilets were clean! Shouldn’t take a pandemic for this to happen. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely beach and the most amazing view of the sunset. Puppy absolutely loved it too
Such a lovely beach with plenty parking and in a beautiful part of the Cumbrian coastline .
The place its self isn't much to walk around before you get to the beach but once you get to the beach you can see how clean and lovely it is, there's steps leading down towards the beach and plenty of car parking spaces near the beach and on the way out there are more parking lots, it's a good place to visit and walk your dog or take the kids for a bit of sand castle building. There's usually a ice cream van parked up and there is a kiosk selling food and drinks. Not very wheelchair friendly around the small village as I had to go onto the main road at times when we walked around the place. I didn't see any toilets either. Not bad for a picnic spot or as mentioned above.
Lovely beach, great for rockpooling.
