As usual the staff at customer services were there to greet me. On asking if there was any staff member free to help me with the shopping, within a very short time I was introduced to a young lady called Emily. This young lady was very kind and friendly and only too willing to help me. 2hrs later(I suffer from server back issues...24hr pain and take morphine medication 24/7. Unfortunately I am now suffering from macular degeneration which has left me with very little eyesight in my left eye), so Emily was a great help and she has the patience of a saint. I can say honestly that I have been shown great respect from all the staff members here at sainsburys throughout the store and all the people who have helped me in these passed few weeks that I have found difficult and yet nothing is a trouble for your staff. Thank you all, your staff are a credit to your company, thank you again, if these people were not able to help people like me I'm not sure what I would do or cope. Kind wishes, Pauline.
Everyone was following Covid guidelines, an easy shopping experience.
Today at the self checkout I started to feel faint and dizzy. Luckily, the kind customer assistant Yusuf noticed and immediately brought over a chair and gave me a cup of water. I am so grateful for his help and he was really understanding and reassuring.
I like the layout, the range of options in pretty much everything and the checkout staff are always very pleasant. Feels a very safe store.
