Due to weekend and covid restrictions there were long queues but they were quiet fast moving. This is a large Sainsbury's and has many different options for products and produce.
Terrible service. Checkout lady was either distracted or didn't know what she was doing. Scanned my items multiple times. Pointed error out and yet she didn't correct or say sorry. Ended up going to customer service for a refund. Wasted half an hour. Manager said sorry but did not offer any goodwill gesture. I do not recommend this store.. bad service!
Nice size store not too big but just big enough. Not always the cheapest on price although very reasonable. Normally that little bit quieter than some of the others so a nicer shopping experience, and allows a quicker shpping trip. Rarely a large que at checkouts and smart scan app works well. Great there is now an Argos in store as well. Staff are always happy to help and if you can't find something out they do go and check warehouse area. Some good offer on wine at present
This store used to be great...years ago. I don't know what has happened to Sainsbury's over the last decade but the quality of their food has dropped dramatically. I won't buy fruit and vegetables from here they're overpriced. When I visit relatives who live in Watford I notice the difference, as a few years go by between visits. Please note. Sainsbury's have permanently scrapped all deli, fresh fish and fresh meat counters in ALL stores. They've posted that information on their website too.
