I frequently shop here and staff are generally very helpful and the store is well stocked. However there is one most disagreeable lady on the customer service desk, it's not a one off she is always on there and consistently unhelpful the other lady is the exact opposite and very pleasant, I'm sure everyone knows who is who! Very strange to have someone like on a customer service desk.

What a fiasco this morning. Having checked the Boxing Day opening hours, I went to Sainsbury's Great Yarmouth at just after 8 a.m. to be told by a languid young man fiddling on his phone that they were not open until 9 a.m. When I pointed out what the times were on the website, his reply was \there's some confusion\. Not on my part. Having been shielding since February, due to age, health concerns and recently completed course of cancer treatment, I have visited the store at their earliest opening time on Mondays and/or Fridays, to stay as safe as I can, so this morning proved to be very inconvenient. Fortunately, Asda were very obliging, so may well shop there again.

I visited this Sainsbury due to its comprehensive recycling facilities. It was nice to see mixed plastic and can recycling. Plus paper /cardboard go in one container. The car park charges for parking over half an hour which isn't long enough to do a shop. The signs saying you have to pay are poorly lit so you are likely to miss them. Also if you say no receipt at the till you have no proof you shopped there. I will visit again because prices were reasonable too and because of the recycling.
