Pretty decent store with plenty of free parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Tends to be queues for the checkouts as they have very few open, but moves along reasonably well. Generally well stocked with good selection.

No halal food available and little bit costlier than ASDA. My suggestion would be to keep halal food items.

Why can't Sainsbury staff @ the Northgate location allow a would be customer to sit outside on one of their accessible chairs that are located just inside the exit doorway???? The would be customer is in her 70's & her shopping was being done for her. Under normal circumstances a vulnerable customer like that would go into the store. C19 does nor bring us normal daily routines. So please be more considerate for older people. We will all get to that vintage soon. Regards, J Rhodes

Great Sainsbury’s - bit “difficult” to find as its a bit confusing if you don’t know where you are going and you can miss or take the wrong entrance. The shop itself is great though - loads of parking facilities and good COVID measures in place so you feel comfortable. The shop itself is the typical Sainsbury’s offering the usual selection of food and non-food items.
