It's well laid out and the car park is well thought out.. Less chance of getting your pride and joy damaged.. You can more and less get everything you need under one roof.. Food, clothing, electrical equipment for your home, its great..

First visit to this Sainsbury's to take advantage of the double up points offer for Christmas presents. Really nice store, lovely feel, good choice of clothes, home wares and some electronics. Staff really friendly and helpful too. Would be better if they extended the 2 hrs parking to 3 though.

I have been to sainsbury's after a long time as I normally shop from another supermarket. But I must say, I was pleasantly surprised to see, especially their home section. Very quality products and lovely nice layout of the store. Definitely made me think of changing my routine supermarket

Short story: Aggressive and threatening security guard at entrance, who threatened me stating the police might arrest me if I they find me entering the shop with my wife. We were met with a lady at entrance who said that only one person is allowed per household into Sainsbury’s. I mentioned I visit this store multiple times a week (with the mrs after I pick her up from her work at st Helier hospital) and asked if this is this something new. I was told this has been enforced for months “by the government”. I obliged and went back to the car and met the mrs go alone. I looked up if there was any new COVID rules and couldn’t find anything. Out of pure curiosity I went back to ask her where the rules has come from. I was told to speak to the security manager Zafar. Zafar came across very aggressive and threatened that if he lets me go in with my wife, the police can come abs arrest me for breaking COVID rules. I requested if I can go speak with customer services and was told by Zafar that I have to wait for my wife to come down or I won’t be let in. Customer services confirmed that this requirement has been in place for a while, but has only recently been enforced due to increased cases of COVID with colleagues. She also acknowledged that there is only one sign at front, which still doesn’t state the strictly one person per household policy. I left Sainsbury’s, went to Morrison’s, queued for 5mins and we were both let in with a smile from two security guards at entrance. I understand very well these are troubling times, but there is no excuse for the kind of behaviour shown by Zafar. I only wanted to know where the Sainsbury’s guidelines were online or instore. Both Zafar and the customer service representative failed to provide that. Sadly I will not be visiting this Sainsbury’s again, I would much rather drive 5-50mins more than be spoken to this way.

Nice store but always has short sell by dates on its 'fresh' produce
