Good store always well stocked, do miss the cafe can't wait for lockdown to be over, great coffee there, and they keep and eye o the reduced section too, a bigger reduced section wouldn't go a miss though. All round. Good.

I have just had the most dis pleasurable shopping experience at the Sainsbury’s store in Alton. A complete and utter lack of respect for social distancing. Staff members were not monitoring the number of people coming into the store! The aisles were heaving. Staff members were stood around chatting about what they had for dinner last night, there was packaging lying around in the aisles and generally the store looked filthy!! Quite how are you have scored five on your food hygiene report is a mystery, must be an old report or you were just very lucky on the day. The whole experience was topped off as my shop was concluding when the staff member on the checkout spent the entire time whilst scanning my products picking her ear. I will not be returning to the store! Sainsbury’s Alton you could learn a lot from your competition! Your current set up during the Covid pandemic is absolutely appalling.
Sainsbury was fine thanks for asking. I managed to get frozen meat free sausages on offer AND get this.....a massive tub of Meridian smooth peanut butter! Get in! I would have given 5 stars but my fave still lady wasn't there so........
