Surprised at how quiet it was. Bit disappointed as I went to look at books and they were all off the shelves and not inside the store due to a little shop re organisation going on. Didn't buy much just a few things to tide me over until my Ocado shop. Actually walked there. Kept it local. Felt safe. I think most people have got the message about social distancing really being necessary.

We popped into Sainsbury’s because we needed a replacement Duvet and Duvet covers. It was actually the Watchmoor Park store we choose because they have a really big home and clothing section. It was actually pleasing and surprising to see that they had both there own brand ‘Home’ and Habitat range in stock. It was also really easily laid out in the various sizes so it was easy to see what was in the King Size Range. While there we popped to the Frozen Vegetarian section, which is one of my main sections to visit when doing food shopping here, that alongside the fresh Vegetarian and Vegan displays, and also the FreeFrom Brand. Sainsbury’s have been doing well in this area, they certainly have further to go, but it is a slow and steady progression forward to a more sustainable future. My advice would be to make that direction a higher priority, but as I say, good progress so far. It is a good store, hard working staff and an enjoyable environment.

Our local Sainsburys. Cheerful (masked) greeter on the door, hsnd and trolley sanitizer available as you go in. Still a few empty shelves sometimes but with pandemic and Brexit on top I think they are doing pretty well.

Not too busy on Mondays. Customers behaving well with covid rules. Some great offers.
