All through the lockdowns, Dorchester Sainsbury’s Local have provided all we have needed. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. I feel safe shopping, which I feel is very important in these strange times. Keep up the good work.

Not a lot of selection but great if u quickly need to pick something up
As tourists, we really appreciated the friendly staff who looked after our family during a terrible storm while we waited for our rental car company to replace our faulty vehicle. We ended up doing our shopping here in appreciation for the kindness offered by staff. Highly recommend
Got ourselves very lost in Dorchester after taking a detour on the way back from a holiday in Cornwall and satnav dying! Sainsbury's manager and staff so helpful in getting us back on route that we did some essentials shopping there before heading home! Saved us trying to find somewhere late in the evening to buy a map too! Thank you so much!
Fine unless you are not using self service, then you have to go and find one of the staff (usually chatting near the sandwiches in a group) to actually serve you.
