Sage 400 is an unlikely gem is a strip mall in west Houston. The fish quality is excellent and their signature rolls are interesting and unique. You can always get the usual standard sushi and sashimi but I enjoyed venturing out and trying the Complicated Roll. They also have a decent liquor selection and lunch specials. Enjoy another great Houston sushi establishment.

A great sushi and Japanese restaurant. The food selections are perfect, the drink selections are plentiful and the décor is good and modern. The service is as expected. Good attention by the waitstaff and prompt service. The bar area is sizable and has a room around the bar for good amount of seating. The place seems to be a favorite with locals as there was steady stream of folks who seemed to know the bar and wait staff and was cheerful. Over all good experience.

The volcano sushi was amazing. We had mochi ice cream for desert and it was so cute!

Went on busy Friday night. Sat at the bar Food was great service was mediocre. (The kind you get on miami strip) But the regulars received superb service. I used the yell method which means every time a bartender passed i yelled what I needed and I got it. I would try it again since it was first time. I understand you can't be perfect every time

2nd visit here! This place was so good we forgot to take pictures! LOL. #1 dish PORK BELLY appetizer. Takes a while to make, order as you sit down. From Softshell crab hand roll, miso soup, Chilean seabass, shrimp fried rice, escolar nigari. All was delicious!! 5 stars! Highly recommended!
