Quality Waitrose store with obliging and helpful staff. Right under a town centre carpark, if that's important to you - fees refundable in-store (for 10 purchases) Excellent and very compact shopping centre and Market Square of Saffron Walden. The church has an excellent ring of 12 bells, frequent visits from peregrine falcons, and was the birthplace of English democracy!
