Absolutely Loved our visit to Audley End. A Stunning example of Capability Brown Gardens & waterways! Really large site with many quiet corners to sit & take in the beauty of the many colourful Gardens, the Jacobean house (still closed unfortunately due to Covid), bridges & follies ..Must Visit!!
Very beautiful house and gardens. Really fun to see the staff dressed up as characters from the Victorian age. That took on the role of the characters and told us interesting facts about the history if the place, as seen through the eyes of their character. Food was limited to sandwiches ice cream and biscuits, as you would expect . Beautiful gardens. Well worth visiting.
Beautiful house and gardens. Large grassed areas for kids to run around. Interesting stories from the houses past as there is a WW2 pill box in the grounds near the stream. Beautiful walled garden and stable block.
We had a wonderful walk on the grounds even though the house was closed for lockdown. Can't wait to return and visit the house. Their family programming us brilliant. Highly recommended.
