Saffron Indian Restaurant

We visited this restaurant this evening 3rd September 2020 and would only give this 5 stars out of 5,service was absolutely 1st class, restaurant very very clean a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I had the lamb chops with all the trimmings and it was the nicest meal I've had in an indian restaurant,my partner had the bhuna and hes so fussy but he throughly enjoyed it,we also took a takeaway for my father in law king prawn curry onion bhajis etc! and that was 10-10 too. Price of meal and drinks was very good too.Definitely highly recommend this restaurant and we will certainly go back the next time we visit kirton. THIS RESTAURANT DESERVES TO DO WELL. It's a very nice place to have romantic/group dinner. Wide variety of choice and lamb is halal. The food is delicious!

Very good curry, had a few in my 70odd years and this is right up there, you can always tell a good Indian restaurant by the onion bahjis and this is one of the best. Now our local. Two minor points. The napkins could be better quality and bigger, plus the lighting is to bright. Takes nothing away from the food it was great. We'll done staff too. Just had a takeaway, great food again, can't fault it, arrived on time and tried a different dish as well still superb, thanks for having a great restaurant and it's our go to place.

I am glad that these guys do it quite authentic. They have a bunch of options for vegetarians and are happy to do some variations on request. Takeaways are a delight too. Good work by the team.
