Saffron - Innerleithen (Authentic Indian Restaurant and Takeaway)

We ate in here though there is take-away available too. It's a tiny but very well appointed and comfortable restaurant, roughly 10 covers as laid out currently (may have been more pre-covid, of course). We were a group of 4 and started with popadoms and relish tray then had individual mains but shared rice and nan breeds between couples. The food was excellent, very tasty and well spiced. Staff were excellent. All expected covid protocols were meticulously followed. Highly recommended and we will go back.

Incredible. We’d heard great things about Saffron from locals in Peebles - we weren’t disappointed and it was definitely worth seeking out. The quality of the food and the exceptional service more than made up for the slightly small number of tables available. Very busy on a Sat night with takeaway queues right down the street with good reason as the biryanis and specials were to die for! Definitely phone ahead to book if you can. We’ll be back! Yum.
