The Safeway visit was spectacular. I enjoyed every minute of my shopping experience. The aisles were beautifully presented., so clean, organized and attractive to eyes. I only shopped for a couple of items, but I felt it was worth it because not only were the prices great, but I also received discounts that really made this a worthwhile trip. It's a fairly large facility that i noticed right away was fully stocked with polished floors and an ambiance second to none. In addition, this was my first visit to this Safeway location and I was impressed. I think I wood definitely recommend this Safeway in Sterling, VA as it has well-stocked items unlike a certain other market i had visited earlier during the week. This Safeway lives up to the term supermarket.

Yes, this store has nice people, is well stocked, and is always neatly kept. But why do I pass the dozen or so stores (Giant, Harris Teeter, Wegman's etc) closer to me? Because there is a real butcher in the meat department. Woody is a real professional and knows the trade. He is also friendly and helpful. I grew up with a butcher in the family - 40 years with Armour and Swift. Woody is like part of the family.
