COVID left with with stroke like symptoms (feelings of about to lose consciousness and vision, whole left side of my body was numb for weeks, difficulting concentrating, having a hard time finding the right word or even at times difficulting reading and writing). I even had extreme heart palpitations that made me lose my breath. I struggled with an over shaking, sickening feeling. I had a 2 day stay at the hospital at which the doctors were not able to come up with anything other than \must be COVID after effect\ but I wasn't getting any better despite me no longer testing positive. It seemed I was considered one of those 'long haulers' we are now hearing about in the news. Kasie treated me with accupuncture and I immediately felt better the next day. I did have symptoms return weeks later but they were no where near as extreme. The numbness came back but only in the left side of my head, some slight mental fog and random heart palpitations. I again went for accupunture and dissipated. This time , it took some time to go away but I feel strongly the only reason it did was my treatment. I may continue to have episodes due to the virus but will continue to seek accupunture to treat my symptoms with Kasie.

This is facility affiliated with PODA. The concept is bringing acupuncture to the community at an affordable price (keeping in mind you may need more than one visit). You choose what you can afford to pay within a given range 20-45 a visit (30-55 for initial visit with paperwork). Kasi is kind and caring. She practices from her traditional Chinese training. When you leave you may feel exactly like the business is appropriately named, \Calm\. The atmosphere is cozy, quiet and peaceful. Located right near the heart of Safety Harbor. All scheduling is done on line. I recommend her to anyone thinking about giving acupuncture a try. All scheduling is done on line.

The facility is clean and quiet. The environment is peaceful. Hours and appointment times are very flexible, which is hard to find. Most important to me is that the treatments are affordable. If it weren't for this place, I would have never been able to try acupuncture. The treatments have given me significant relief from 3 years of chronic pain, all thanks to Kasie. She is compassionate and smart. She knows what she is doing but is down to earth and cares about meeting your goals for treatment.

When scheduling online I took comfort in their mask and social distancing policy. Having gone I found they were very consistent with this. My acupuncturist was Kasie, who was rather pleasant. I went in with a migraine and by the time I left it was gone. In addition to treating my migraine Kasie gave me some useful information about rebound migraines caused by the Excedrin I'd been taking. As a healthcare worker with some training in Eastern medicine her knowledge exceeds mine by far, another thing in which I took comfort. Kasie's precision with the needles and accuracy in pulse diagnosis is clearly a result of 20 years experience and the adequate training that is difficult to come by nowadays (at least here in FL). In addition to the exceptional service and bedside manner (or in this case, recliner side manner LOL) the all around energy of the place was tranquil and serene. I was given my own room (which goes back to the social distancing) and was able to relax despite that I went in hopped up on caffeine. Between taking Excedrin PM the night before and regular Excedrin with supplemental caffeine just prior to my visit I went in jittery and anxious with residual cloudiness. When I left I felt relaxed, grounded and most importantly migraine-free. 5 stars all the way!

I have been to acupuncture a few times and never have I had an experience as I did at Calm Community. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Casey with a hug and felt like I walked into a peaceful environment where she truly cares about every person she treats. She is knowledgable, caring and gives each of her patients undivided attention. She took the time to make me feel comfortable, explain what she was doing and give me an estimated time of how long it would take for me to have relief from my condition (radial tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow). Within 2 appointments my arm was feeling about 40% better and my sleep has improved tremendously.
