I actually had the pleasure of staying here for a little over a week back in 1974 My Aunt Florentine's Mom was the housekeeper. Loved it. Loved the town. First time I ever had fish and chips wrapped in newspaper. Back then I remember having to shop basically every day.

Sacred Heart Church is a grade 2 listed building, with fine stained glass windows to every aspect, including a rose window to the organ loft
Really enjoyed Mass here with thought provoking homily. Just what I needed in a busy week.
