The zoo is very clean and well maintained. The animals seem to be in good health. Some of the areas were closed because of the COOVID situation, but this is more than understandable. We also liked the size of the zoo, it's a manageable size. If you have small children you will understand. The only thing I would suggest to improve, is the plan you get at the entrance of the zoo, It needs to be updated. Keep the good work guys. We will for sure come back to visit again.

Lovely zoo. Lots of cool animals to see and play areas for the kids.
Good zoo for a half day adventure. Plan for many hills. Variety of animals was good but definitely on the smaller side compared to other zoo locations. Bring your water/drinks as not many available throughout. There are three playgrounds on site. Overall our girls enjoyed Saarbrucken zoo.
