This place used to do the best spit roast chicken in Basildon, not the breaded or battered rubbish, proper chicken n chips, well at 8.30 last night they didnt have any left so I asked why and they said it runs out quick, if I ring about 5 in the evening and order it for about 8 they will save me some. I had rock n chips instead, fish was great, chips were absolute rubbish, worst i'v ever had, leftovers. This used to be the best chippie in this town. They wont be getting my money again after getting a bus from the town centre to Stacies and then walking all the way back to the town.
Very friendly staff great food.
