We went here for flammkuchen and weren't disappointed. Between four people we shared one classic (which was great), one with Roquefort, and a dessert one (photos). The dessert flammkuchen was my favorite. There was a sweet cream and apple and cinnamon base. Flaming snapps were poured over this (after some theatre where the snapps were set on fire). It also tasted delicious.

Short version: awful food. Canned mushrooms on the Flammkuchen and nothing fresh. Only good thing was the beer. Long version: We were very hungry and stopped here because it was the only place open. The restaurant down the road wasn’t yet open for dinner service but was still full from the lunch crowd. We went to this restaurant and it was empty, but open for service. That should have been a warning to us. We both had flammkuchen and a green salad. Nothing was fresh about the flammkuchen. I had the feeling that even the dough was store bought. The salad was just a bunch of lettuce drowned in a vinaigrette. At one point a small insect crawled out of my salad onto the edge of the plate. Neither of us were able to finish the four despite being famished. Can I give them zero stars?

Authentic ambiance.... Great food and top service. I ate only Flammkuechen ( French style Pizza) and of course French wine to make a beautiful Evening

Flammkuchen is great but the service could be greatly improved. The owners (mother and daughter) were not very nice to us as guests. Very rushed and not very courteous!

If you like to try typical alsatian food (Flammkuchen) and a tasty alsatian white wine this is definitely your place to go, very friendly staff, really cosy atmosphere in a small village nearby the river Rhein (on the french side of the river), a picturesque places.
