This place is brilliant. Could so easily make itself a tourist trap but it's super friendly. They have sweet strudels, a savoury cabbage one and three types of langosh including a veg option. The man we dealt with happily spoke English and was very helpful when we could only offer euros instead of HUF. Skip the tourist cafés and come here.

Very nice coffee and strudle. The \ túrós rétes\ and apple strudle was amazing, we liked the poppy seed strudle too, just please make one without cherry too, plain poppy seed. :)
Was open Sunday morning at 8 with ovenfresh cheese-and-bacon croissants and chocolate rolls! Reasonable prices and good coffee!
Very nice pastry and reasonable prices for the location. Strudel comes in many variations including poppyseed, plum and cheese. All delicious.

Fresh and tasty rétes, reasonable prices. If you are taking a walk around castle district and need to stop for a cup of coffee this is a good option.
