LOVE this place. The decor is just amazing - I would be extremely happy if my home looked half as good as here. We did the wine tasting and wow, some really interesting and different wines were presented. Our lead for the tasting (can’t remember his name) was just wonderful, full of knowledge and a good mix of talking about wines vs general chit chat. Another massive bonus is they’re dog friendly, we were able to bring our Pomeranian puppy into the wine tasting room and there was never an issue having him on the grounds (we were even able to take him for a walk around the vineyard). I normally prefer burgers over pizza but this place made me completely change that thought, we sat outside and have the stone baked sourdough pizza and it was INCREDIBLE. I think we also bumped into Ben (the owner) a few times but he didn’t make a “thing” about introducing himself which I really liked as it felt like he was just happy to see us enjoying the place and not boast. 100% recommend this place. We live 2.5 hours from Rye and we’re excited to book here again but next time, book a room and have a stay completely within Tillingham.

Amazing place producing some of the most exciting wines in the UK at the moment. Run by the inspiration Ben Walgate who's energy and enthusiasm is matched by his knowledge and skill. Well worth a visit and well worth trying these wines for yourself. Highly recommend.
We went Tillingham for winery tour. Some grapes grow wildly and they produce wine with conventional Georgian method which is I’ve never seen before that reflects unique flavour of Tillingham’s wine. We had tasting time with 5 different wine and cider, We loved them all. After the tour we got couple of glasses of wine from Arthur guide and had fantastic pizza for lunch, the pizza unexpectedly delicious.
If you have ever wondered why English wine is the next big thing - come here for the answer. Led by a team of super talented, passionate people dedicated to the biodynamic philosophy - and also ready to experiment (they even ferment their grapes in Georgian qvevris - wow!!), Tillingham produces some really good - and unusual - wines. Loved their qvevri cider as well. A winery to watch - they are still in their infancy really!
I came across this place on a walk and, despite being closed, they offered to take me on a tour and let me have a look around. Everybody I met was so friendly and engaging. It is a beautiful setting with the restaurant bar and bedrooms looking out over the vines.
