We had breakfast late morning 17 Sept 2020. Plenty of well spaced seating in an attractive shaded pergola area. We enjoyed the full breakfast which was served in a cast iron skillet. The waitress told us the pub had undergone a major restyle during the lockdown which was amazing. We're definitely going back soon before autumn sets in. I would imagine it would be very atmospheric at night and cosy in the cold winter nights. Very good waitress service. Shame we live nearly 30 miles away.

Fantastic food and very cordial staff. Safety measures implemented throughout, at least when I came there. The restaurant has a quirky atmosphere indoors, and a decent-side terrace in a not-too busy road. Definitely worth going if you're nearby
Great food, for all meals. Great quality, good service. Good background music. I go often. Great looking inside, new booths because of covid look good and match the inside perfectly. Never let down.
The staff and the atmosphere are amazing. If you were going for just drinks you could have a good time with a huge wine list (London prices though ). The food was less special, the burger in particular was cooked well done and an inch from death and the salad was sloppily placed with just a piece of lettuce and few bits of red onion. Definitely not worth the 14 albeit the chips were decent and fairly substantial. The mussels were ordered were lovely however so it is not completely lost on food but I would recommend eating elsewhere first
Very tasty Mac and Cheese and very good menu... will have to come back ( the lamb shank with couscous sounds fantastic ). Special shout out to the staff though, I had a train to catch and they were very helpful at helping me settle the bill in a heartbeat, thanks to them I caught my train in the nick of time. Very good decor and atmosphere too, would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Rye!
