Most of the beers were sold out strangely enough. Otherwise would have rated higher. Pub is clean has good tv’s for viewing sport. I watched the Manchester United game here. Atmosphere is good and lively with a young adults group of people all of which were local. Nice pub.

I dont think it makes sense with an (almost) empty bar to have a filter stop sign on entering the bar...when it's full I understand...but not when it's empty. Also the Crown name should be lit up with lights...otherwise people might think it's shut. Just my opinion.

I ordered a Chinese takeaway from opposite and had a 20 minute wait so decided to have a quick drink . Good selection of beers and spirits. On arrival had our temperature taken. All tables were Cleaned and social distancing was fully in place. Friendly staff.

The staff here were great! I asked for a jukebox and they put the music on straight away. The pub allowed us to bring our takeaway food in and eat there due to covid and their kitchen being closed. I will definitely return here if I come back to Rye.

Very welcoming staff. Always happy to help. The room was perfect and it was in walking distance to the town centre! Would highly recommend and definitely come back again!
