Delicious delicious delicious! My partner and I go there every time we get a chance to visit Rye. Really great food with heaps to choose from. Our favourite is the green and the red curry! Pad Thai is great as well. I am not usually a big fan with Asian desserts but theirs is great! You can also get takeaway if you prefer to stay in your accommodations.

Food was very overpriced, an example was the spring rolls were about 13 for six. When they came out we all laughed as they looked like three were cut in half. The service was average, serving size was okay. The food tasted pretty good.

We came on 5/4/2021 night in a party of 8. Everyone was disappointed with the poor food quality. Having been to many Thai restaurants in Melbourne and overseas and know Thai food tend to be on the sweet side however this takes sweetness and saltiness to a whole different level. this is probably the most unauthentic Thai restaurant I hv ever tasted. 1. All dishes were either overly sweet or salty. The chefs or cooks don’t taste their food before serving them out. 2. No check in QR quote to scan or book to write down for contact tracing. Is this allowed? No social distancing. 3. Overly priced dishes on top of poor quality foods. I know they are crowded because of the hols however I hope the owners will take note and do something about their food quality.

Unfortunately, we didn’t even get to eat there. Had a pretty bad experience. I walked in towards the counter and said “Table for two, please” and the person behind the counter said “Sorry no .... “ sounding afraid as she recoiled while staring at me. I was really confused and asked her, “It’s fully booked???” and she said “Yes, fully booked”. She didn’t say anything about wait times or about the empty tables available or even sound apologetic. I am unsure why she reacted like that and unfortunately think it was because of my skin tone. I can only assume. Either way, the service was poor and I wasn’t treated with courtesy and I exited the restaurant promptly.

I have been to Ruby Thai a couple of times but that was a couple of years ago. My partner and I went there tonight and were absolutely disgusted with the poor service and what was put in front of us. To make matters worse they charged ridiculous prices for bad meals. We will never go back there. We know what good Thai food is and they dont serve it at this restaurant!
