Wonderful open mic the third Monday of each month. Good acts and very friendly atmosphere.
An old fashioned pub with old fashioned prices! I had never been there before yesterday but received a very warm and sincere welcome from the landlord. Regulars described the Sunday roasts as superb and plentiful and a bargain at under a tenner. Good selection of well kept real ales. Occasional live music. If you like pubs the way they used to be then this place is for you.
