Excellent food and service considering the covid regulations. The staff are keeping themselves and us the customers safe too. Regarding the 'like greggs' comment it is very wrong. The food and drinks were lovely. My steak and kidney pie was great. The coffee cake and cheese straw were also good for my family.

Absolutely fantastic hot and cold food, cakes, and drinks. Staff were very friendly and I would come back here without a doubt.

Walked out without buying anything today as I was ignored by staff who were too busy chatting with each other acknowledge or serve me. Not an acceptable treatment for a shop immediately opposite the train station where potential customers need quick service before boarding a train. The result is my money will be spent at Starbucks Ashford International instead, not my preferred choice but Jempsons bought this on itself. Better staff training needed.

I expect that small business will find it hard at these very uncertain time and with social distancing measures, now I visit a fair few cafe over the last few years and this is not a cafe but more like Gregg's and would have treated it like that. I found the staff unhelpful arrogant when ordering and when they seemed more bothered about being a convoy belt, if you are advertising as a cafe maybe have someone at the door to greet and offer support,, and if people want to eat in guide them to a table that's clean and with a menu. I would like to think that I've got food that hasn't had people touching it, but more so from the other side of the counter freshly made..
