Really enjoyed visiting Hoof this evening. A quaint little restaurant which specialises in the food it offers. Although a bit of a limited menu, when the food arrived it was excellent. If you look at the menu and there is one thing on there you think you'd like I recommend visiting. Oh, and leave room for the deserts. Can't wait to visit again!

FINALLY I was able to find a properly cooked steak in the UK. Really wonderful steak cuts and the peppercorn sauce was to die for. I had to all but stop myself from drinking the excess at the end. The girls serving were really friendly and attentive. Next time I’m back in Rye, I will definitely return to Hoof for a steak.

On my mini break with my girlfriend, we decided to have fish and chip. But my girlfriend could not decide 100%. She pointed to HOOF. For me the menu was to die for. The food was amazing in this mini restaurant that resembles an inn. They were on top of the game with covid. Looks at the pictures and salivate......ohhhh yea!

Good burger but people hyped it up to much. So expected more. Had just as good in nice pubs. So if you visit its good but nothing special.
